On November 6, 2019, the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic held a technical seminar in the conference room of the Dostuk Hotel with the participation of the international consultant of the United Nations Statistics Division, Mr. Vladimir Markhonko, for representatives of the Government Office, ministries and departments, scientific communities and non-governmental organizations of the Kyrgyz Republic “Data and metadata for indicators of the Sustainable Development Goals.” During the event, information was provided on the current activities of the National Statistics Committee on compiling global and national SDG indicators, international recommendations on compiling and disseminating metadata on SDG indicators. In addition, workshop participants discussed the draft SDG Monitoring Roadmap in the Kyrgyz Republic.
