Gross domestic product (GDP) is the most important indicator of national accounts, characterizing the state and development of the economy and economic growth trends of the Kyrgyz Republic over a certain period. It reflects the value of goods and services produced in a country and intended for final consumption, accumulation and export. The permanent population is the size of the population, permanent residents at the time of the census in this territory, including those temporarily absent. In the inter-census period, a current estimate of the permanent population is made based on the census data and taking into account information from the current registration of demographic events. . |

GDP per capita is the ratio of the total volume of gross domestic product produced over a certain period of time to the permanent population. GDPPC=GDP/P where, GDPPC – GDP per capita; GDP – nominal volume of GDP; P is the permanent population. |

GDP per capita is one of the most important characteristics that determine the level of economic development of a state, as it allows assessing the economic development of countries based on population size. An increase in this indicator may indicate an increase in the standard of living of the population, and therefore is a socially significant indicator. The growth of value-added production is the basic factor determining the state of functioning of the economy. By allocating the total volume of production to each unit of the population, it is possible to measure the degree of impact on the development of the growth rate of production, taking into account an individual. The indicator, in fact, can be considered as a summary indicator of socio-economic development. |
