a) In accordance with Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 228 dated 22 October 2021 “On the Preparation and Conduct of the Population and Housing Census in the Kyrgyz Republic in 2022,” the Kyrgyz Republic conducted the Population and Housing Census in electronic format from 25 March to 3 April 2022. In remote areas of the country, the census was conducted from 23 April to 2 May 2022.
b) According to data from the United Nations Statistics Division and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), as of 2021, the Kyrgyz Republic had achieved at least 90% birth registration and at least 75% death registration.
