Создана Координационная комиссия по проблемам изменения климата (ППКР от 21.11.12г. № 783) под председательством Вице-премьер-министра Кыргызской Республики, с возложением на нее функций национального органа по вопросам изменения климата

В 2020 году создана государственная структура для руководства всеми действиями в области изменения климата и “зеленой” экономике - Координационный совет по развитию “зеленой” экономики и изменению климата (ППКР от 30.01.2020г. №46), возглавляемая Премьер-министром Кыргызской Республики

ППКР от 14.08.2017г. №478 учрежден Центр по климатическому финансированию Кыргызской Республики.
